What is Biblical, Cremation or Burial?

What should one Choose, Cremation or Burial?
I wanted to know how God feels about cremation or burial and I found the solution by knowing that cremation is not mentioned as a correct disposal of the body in the Bible. The article I will post about the topic mentions that the body of a Christian contains the Holy Spirit and therefore that body needs to be treated with respect. In the Bible, cremation occurs only surrounding negative events. If you do choose cremation because it is more affordable, etc., then you should have your ashes buried not sprinkled is what the article also says since the Bible does mention burial as being a preferred method.

The Bible does mention burial as a preferred method of disposing of a dead body because all the important people in the Bible such as Jesus (in the tomb), Abraham, Sarah, etc. were buried. So if the Bible is not telling us about cremation but is telling us about burial then we choose burial. If something is not mentioned then we look at what is mentioned as what matters. I have an article listed below with the title, "Is Cremation Sinful?"

Do Royals Have the Right to Get Cremated?
There is no law specifying that a monarch must be buried - although no British monarch so far has been cremated, except Princess Margaret see below. A couple of points to bear in mind, however: The last U.K. monarch to die was George VI in 1952 (as of this writing in 2023).

In 1952 only 14% of U.K. Funerals were Cremations
In 2018, 78% of U.K. funerals were cremations - and the trend has been rising year on year [1]
cremation was initially seen as being for poor people - however, it is now viewed as being the preferred option by the majority of the U.K. population [2]

The Burial Location of U.K. Monarchs

The current burial location for U.K. monarchs, St George’s Chapel, is quite full - the Royal Vault is already pretty much at capacity and hasn’t been used since 1930, there isn’t much space in the George VI Memorial Chapel (although it is thought that the current Queen will be buried there), and there isn’t much room in the main chapel either.

Princess Margaret was Cremated
Princess Margaret became the most senior member of the Royal Family to be cremated in 2002 (as she wanted to be buried near her father, and not in the Royal Burial Ground, the graveyard used recently for most non-monarch Royals). This shows that the Royal Family does not have philosophical issues with cremation per se.
