How Factory Farms Violate Animal Rights

Image
Factory Farms Violate Christian Principles The article I will be posting is extremely well written and it shows what is really going on concerning the abuse of animals in factory farming. I will post the article in its entirety and I will edit any grammar mistakes with Grammarly. I will post the link to the article below. I am doing this because the article is so well written and I could not do it justice by trying to rewrite it I am making sure that the reader will know this is the writing of a Christian and you can visit their blog site below. The only intention of reposting the article is to make people aware of the atrocities that have been done to animals worldwide.  Even though the article is well-written, it contains a lot of grammar mistakes, and like I said I used Grammarly to correct the mistakes also I will make headlines editing for whenever a new topic begins. I highly recommend Grammarly to all bloggers/writers. I will also put the article in quotation marks even though t

What is Biblical, Cremation or Burial?

Image
What should one Choose, Cremation or Burial? I wanted to know how God feels about cremation or burial and I found the solution by knowing that cremation is not mentioned as a correct disposal of the body in the Bible. The article I will post about the topic mentions that the body of a Christian contains the Holy Spirit and therefore that body needs to be treated with respect. In the Bible, cremation occurs only surrounding negative events. If you do choose cremation because it is more affordable, etc., then you should have your ashes buried not sprinkled is what the article also says since the Bible does mention burial as being a preferred method. The Bible does mention burial as a preferred method of disposing of a dead body because all the important people in the Bible such as Jesus (in the tomb), Abraham, Sarah, etc. were buried. So if the Bible is not telling us about cremation but is telling us about burial then we choose burial. If something is not mentioned then we look at what

Rachel and Her Father's Idols

Rachel's Biblical Biography: An Encounter with Jacob "Rachel, who was a shepherd first encountered Jacob when she was guiding the sheep back to her father. Jacob saw her great beauty and because he was charmed by her, he finished the task of giving the sheep water that was instructed to Rachel by Laban for her. Afterward, Jacob expressed her love for Rachel with a kiss. Rachel therefore told her father of these things as she presumably also loved Jacob. Laban allowed Jacob to stay with him and Rachel for a month and it was planned for Jacob to work for him. When Laban asked his nephew what his wages shall be, Jacob pledged that he would work for him for seven years in exchange for marrying Rachel. Laban saw it more fitting to give Rachel to Jacob rather than anyone else so he agreed to the pledge and so Jacob worked to keep his flocks. By the time the seven years were finished, Laban gave Jacob a feast, but since Rachel was the younger daughter to her older sister Leah, it was

God's Name is Sacred

Image
Why We Should Never Misuse God's Name God's Name is Sacred Exodus 20:7 tells us that we are not to misuse the name of the Lord, our God. That verse continues with a clear warning: “The Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name.” The third Commandment should not be taken lightly. Leviticus 24 says that a person caught taking God's name in vain was to be stoned. God says in the Ten Commandments not to take His Name in vain and therefore the Bible does not mention His Name but He is addressed as the Heavenly Father and God the Father.  Source Taking God's Name in vain is bad Note If you like my content please comment, share, and follow my blog. The Miracles Performed by Jesus Christ

Image
The Miracles Performed by Jesus Christ The Miracles that Jesus Performed are Found in the Gospels in the New Testament "As found in the Gospels, here are miracles Jesus performed up to His Crucifixion and Resurrection. There are many miraculous works of Christ recorded in the Bible, as He continues to help mankind in heavenly ways today!" "Most Christians know that Jesus accomplished many miracles but may be surprised to learn of some they didn't know before. Though this is an incomplete list according to John 21:25: "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them was written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." Most likely the miracles listed in the Bible are the most important ones and therefore were written down. The Miracles of Jesus with their Scripture Text As recorded in the New Testament, this is an extensive list of miracles completed by Jesus Christ: 1. Jesus Changed Water i

Genesis: Eve and the Serpent

Image
I Have Seen this Film Several Times I have watched this video and it becomes clear that the serpent infected Eve with "his seed, "the bad seed." This bad seed can be viewed as the narcissists of the world today. This is how the Christian website Got Questions explains it, "As part of the curse, enmity—mutual hatred and ill will—will exist between the woman and the serpent. Later, the same enmity will continue between the woman’s seed or offspring (mankind in general, since Eve is the “mother of all living,” Genesis 3:20 ) and the serpent’s seed. Their offspring will remain enemies throughout all generations.  The serpent’s (metaphorical) offspring are demonic forces and also those people who follow the devil and accomplish his will. Jesus called the Pharisees a “brood of vipers” in Matthew 12:34 and said they belonged to their “father, the devil” in John 8:44 . In short, God says that Satan will always be the enemy of mankind. It follows that people who side with
