Christian Views on Mexican Immigration

Christian Basics on Immigration from a Neighbor Country
First of all the Bible says to pray for our leaders. To criticize President Biden is ok but you also need to pray for him because if you are a Christian you do what the Bible tells you to do regarding our leaders. You can always send a message to the President if you think some of his policies need to change. President Biden has his own policies regarding Mexican immigration and his policies are more humane than the republican policies because Republicans want to build a very expensive wall and instead of building such a wall, America could feed the homeless and give the homeless homes and also help Mexico economically.

Mexico is America's Neighbor to the South
Mexico is part of America and also Mexico is our direct neighbor to the south. Jesus said to love our neighbor as ourselves. If we don't have the finances to help we can always pray for this situation. We should give them what they need and beyond if we can do that financially. Wealthy Republicans benefit from "illegal" Mexicans because they pay them the lowest wages and this is hypocrisy.

To Love Our Neighbors
To love our neighbor as ourselves is what Jesus said to do and to call our neighbors illegal is not loving them but making it sound like we are more important, superior, to them from the human or financial standpoint. Legal Immigration costs thousands of dollars which is what most desperate low to no-income Mexicans don't have and it is a shame that this is true. That is why there are so many migrants wanting to enter the United States "illegally" as they call it.

America is a Country of Immigrants
America is a country of immigrants also called the melting pot and now to immigrate to the United States from Mexico (or other countries) one has to have lots of money to do so. It seems that huge immigration fees are not a constitutional requirement and it is a greedy requirement. Greedy lawyers and other lawmakers want to profit off of poor Mexican (or other nationals) people.

Jesus Said to Never Hate One's Brother
Jesus said to not hate your brother and if you do it is equal to murder. I think America should help Mexico with things like sending people over there to help them make their economy better, get rid of crime due to a bad economy, etc. Mexicans love their country so if they can stay in their country and have a better lifestyle similar to Americans then everyone would be happy and no children would be ever endangered at dangerous border crossings. To love one's neighbor/brother is to be helpful to them and agree with them and not to call them "illegal" and keep them out with huge immigration fees.

Dangerous Border Crossings Involving Children
On the other hand, I don't agree that Mexican (or other nationals) parents should take their children to cross a dangerous border and a dangerous river where many who try to cross die. I think if they want to cross and risk a dangerous crossing as adults then that is their choice but to bring children into this danger is child abuse. It can't be that bad in Mexico that people will endanger children by entering the United States at very dangerous crossings which is another thing that needs to be changed.

The United States should help Mexico Economically and Spiritually
There is a reason as to why God allowed Mexico to be a neighbor to the United States and the meaning is most likely to see if America can treat their neighbor Mexico according to what Jesus taught. America can help Mexico and send companies over there to help build up the economy and also to help Mexico with spiritual leadership. Most importantly, America needs to help Mexico get rid of drug-related and other types of crime and America is very much able to do so.  Mexicans love their country so if they can stay in their country and have a better lifestyle similar to Americans then everyone would be happy and no children would be ever endangered at dangerous border crossings. And of course, dangerous border crossings should be eliminated for the sake of being a Christian country and "In God we Trust."

Conclusion on America Being a Christian Neighbor with Mexico
If we do this right as explained in this blog then we no longer call our neighbor "illegal" making it sound as if we are better than them in any way. We no longer would allow dangerous border crossings. We no longer would treat our neighbors inhumanely with huge immigration fees and let wealthy Americans pay them low wages despite them (the wealthy) claiming they don't want Mexicans here which is a double hypocrisy.
