A Modern/Fun Way to Read the Bible Daily


Get a Bible Reading App at the App Store
A Review for the Blue Letter Bible App called BLB

Android or iPhones: Google App Store or App Store
If you have an iPhone you might have to get the app somewhere else and the Google App Store only works for Android phones. I looked online and it said iPhone users can get apps in the App Store. Also, there is a way to use Google App Store on the iPhone and you have to look those instructions up online.

Go to the Appropriate App Store
Once you are in your appropriate App Store look up apps for Bible Reading. I got the Blue Letter Bible, which is called BLB, Reading App in the Google App Store. In this app, you can have Daily Reading which is on the bottom you click that and it goes to several choices and you click which one you want to read. Once you are done reading your chapter you put a checkmark into a box to show you have read it. 

The BLB App's Options 
The BLB app has other fun options like you can put your favorite notes into the "My Notes" section. It also has My Favorites, My Highlights, My Bibles, My History, and Search. I have chosen to read a blended version of the Bible which means I read Genesis one or two days and then read Matthew for example. It is blended that way. 

The App Measures Your Progress of Reading the Bible
The most fun part about reading your Bible online is that this app gives you a measured way to show how much of the Bible you have read each day. Right now I have read 8% of the Bible and 99 chapters. I have read the physical Bible before like everyone else but it never was this much fun.

You are Learning New Truths Reading the Bible Online in an App
The best thing about reading the Bible in an app like BLB is that you read one chapter a day and you want to do it because you are learning new things about the Bible even though you have read it before and you get rewarded for showing how much of the Bible you have read so far. It just seems to be more rewarding reading the Bible this way in a Bible reading app.

A Christian's Belief Summary: A Christian obeys the U.S. Constitution, which informs people to separate the Church and the State. Christians separate their political and Christian beliefs to avoid conflict. Christians believe that God is love and therefore obey "love each other," which God says to do in the Bible. A mature Christian never forces anything on anyone else, especially their Christian beliefs. Christians know that mixing Christianity with politics leads to killing and war, and therefore, they avoid getting into this kind of behavior. Evangelicals Want Religion taught in Schools

Why is instituting religion in schools not going to work? Because there are different religions with differing theological beliefs. Catholics and evangelicals will fight and kill each other over their beliefs like they did in Europe long ago. Muslims will protest because they won't be part of the school system anymore. Children will feel like religion is being forced on them and will hate religion.  There have been many instances where children grew up in very religious homes and their parents' religion was forced onto them and they rejected religion and God for that reason. God gave everyone choice so forcing religion on children is therefore very wrong. If you want to know about the Bible and God then read the Bible and find a good church. The Bible is a historical book. We have much historical history, and people are supposed to learn from history. The Bible is a prime example of this. America's Constitution has a separation of Church and State for the above reasons.
